George Morrill joined EMCAP in 2021 as a Senior Loan Originator and is responsible for originating new lending opportunities throughout New England. George has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance business, 15 of which were spent as a private lender.
Prior to joining the Company, George has served as a Loan Originator with Grand Coast Capital Group; an Associate with The Grossman Companies, Inc.; Asset Manager with Tremont Realty Capital in Boston; Director of Lending at Wellesley Capital Corporation; and as a Loan Acquisitions Officer at Capital Crossing Bank.
George earned his BS degree from Cornell University and his MBA at the Babson College – Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
George is currently Vice Chairman of the Select Board in the Town of Sherborn, MA and previously served as Chairman of the Town Finance Committee.
